IHLA celebrated two great milestones this past February 2013.
The first was its 35th Anniversary Gala Dinner, on February 22, 2013, where about 100 + folks from the different heritage and international language communities of Edmonton, gathered at the Italian Cultural Centre to Celebrate 35 years of hard work and dedication of this association.
The second was the 10nth Annual Mother Language Day event, celebrated at the same location on the Saturday February 23, 2013. We had a usual crowd of more than 300 people surrounding fabulous display tables of the different community schools as well as 2 hours of fantastic performances of different school groups.
